‘Rogue’ ai is fake news

Posted on 6 August, 20266 August, 2026 By Sim

ai is a computer programme, a highly complex one. It cannot do anything on its own, but has to be fed instructions. There are no ‘rogue’ ai agents, just computer programmes being told to break into websites or try to hire a human or anything else you hear, because the litte-boys-playing-at-being-men behind it all want to create the illusion ai is almost here as super intelligence. They want to drum up enthusiasm and drive up profits. That’s all. Just a magic act.

You know that scene in The Wizard of Oz where Toto pulls back the curtain and we see a little man operating a machine that projects a bigger version of him on a screen and makes his voice sound threatening? That’s ai right now. It is the image on the screen being controlled by the little boys behind the curtain.

And they have everyone terrified.
